PowerNet All Gear Transporter Bag Review- Ultimate Coaching Bag
Coaching baseball or softball can be a very rewarding opportunity for any one that loves the game.
Being able to mold young boys and girls into high level athletes is no easy task. And, anyone that has been in this position for any time knows your going to need some tools for the job.
Sure, it all starts with a glove, fungo and a bucket of balls. But, before you know it your making two of three trips back to your vehicle for everything you couldn’t carry the first or second trip.
Let me introduce you to the PowerNet All Gear Transporter bag.
In this article I want to give my review and help you make a decision on whether you should invest in this amazing equipment bag.
What is the PowerNet All Gear Transporter Bag?
The PowerNet All Gear Transporter bag is the ultimate baseball or softball equipment bag on the market.
With multiple large storage compartments, there isn’t much this bag can’t take to the field. But, it also has many smaller storage pockets for those smaller items.
You’ll be able to carry multiple portable hitting nets, batting tee’s and much more.
Specs:
- Height- 46 inches
- Width- 20 inches
- Depth- 15 inches
What does this equipment bag have to offer?
Storage:
This is where this bag shines. With a huge, divided main compartment, you can carry up to four 7’x7′ portable hitting nets.
Now you don’t have to just carry portable nets in this compartment. For me, I like to carry a couple hitting nets, pop-up I screen and a tripod ball stand.
You can also pull out the dividers which will allow you to carry bulkier items, such as a bag of baseballs or team catchers gear.
But thats not all for big items!
There are also two side compartments which offer storage for fungo’s or training bats, with barrel sleeves and Velcro straps to hold them in place.
Organization:
With over 20 pockets, you can keep your most important items like your line up cards, pens, pencils, small first aid kit, etc. at your finger tips.
Several pockets come with zippered access to help keep items secure during transportation.
There is also a felt lined storage compartment for your cell phone or other valuables you don’t want to get scratched.
You name it, there is a space for it.
Oh, and one other thing! There are convenient hanging hooks all around the bag. Not only can you stand the bag up and secure it to the fence with hooks, but you can also open the side panels for ease or access.
Making it convenient for items your need in a hurry.
Mobility:
Ok….. You may be thinking, “if I carry all this equipment, this bag is going to weigh more than a small car.” And, you would be right.
Fortunately, PowerNet thought of this too.
First, they have incorporated grab handles into both ends of the bag, making loading and unloading this beast of a bag as easy as possible.
Second, they have outfitted this bag with large durable all terrain wheels and a telescoping grab handle.
This allows the All Gear Transporter equipment bag to surprisingly glide over most surfaces with ease. It even handles soft sand and gravel quite well.
Durability:
With a bag that is meant to carry just about anything that you can throw at it, it has to be built to handle the load.
PowerNet has reinforced the highest stress points and placed molded plastic rails to prevent tearing when climbing concrete curbs.
The zippers for the main compartments are heavier duty than the average zipper you’ll find on any other equipment bag.
Drawbacks of the All Gear Transporter Bag
Weight:
Even though PowerNet has incorporated lifting handles into the ends of this bag, it still doesn’t make it light weight.
When you start adding portable nets, baseball bats, batting tee’s, plyo hitting ball and this bag gets heavy, fast.
If you suffer from back issues or just don’t like loading and unloading something of this weight, then I would air on the side of caution.
You’re not going to be much help to your players if you slip a disk in your back or pull a muscle.
Price:
MSRP- $275.00
It shouldn’t be much surprise that a bag of this caliber is going to come with a heftier price tag. After all, this bag isn’t going to be for everybody. But, for the coach that wants to be prepared for every situation it’s well worth the investment.
Final Thoughts!
If your’e like me and you need a bag that can carry everything you may need on the ball field, without having to walk all the way back to the parking lot multiple times. Then this bag may be just what your looking for.
